FBI using Facebook in fight against crime
By Matet on Thu, 18/03/2010 - 8:39amIs QL exempted from this?
Hello Friends,
I used to access Facebook on my laptop without any problems. Off late I am unable to access the site. I am unable to reach the Login screen even. It just says DONE and thats it.
What should I do to get access to the site? Is it some setting issue or do you suggest to take my laptop to Redington?
Appreciate your advice.

Protecting Qatar's Children on Social Media
By ict QATAR on Wed, 17/03/2010 - 4:55amParents are all are faced with the challenge of keeping their children safe online and with the online world evolving rapidly each day, that task at times can seem daunting.
Social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Bebo or My Space are some of the most popular among youth, allowing kids to create individual profiles, post updates, share pictures and build a global network of friends.
What do you think parents's role should be, when it comes to protecting their kids on social media? Should they let their kids discover the online by themselves? Do you think that parents' involvement can stiffle children's creativity & curiosity online, or otherwise? Is filtering software a sufficient option to protect kids?

Ex Military / H.M Forces in Qatar ?
By dazk55 on Sun, 07/03/2010 - 6:03pmI've been here in Qatar for a while now and have bumped into several ex-HM Forces and had a good laugh over a glass of something chilled and thought it might be a good idea to see if there's any ex- Military blokes, who fancy having a get-together for some "like-minded chat & banter".
Drop me a reply or pm, or join the Facebook group:
