Inland Sea with Overnight Camping
By Alumnar on Sun, 01/11/2009 - 8:46pmHi everybody!
I thought that creating a topic with a more appealing title for the non-walkers would be a good idea!
We are planning a trip to the Inland Sea with overnight stay on Eid Al-Adha (exact date not set yet). Drive there (along the Sealine or not, whatever is arranged throughout the development of this topic), BBQ's, dunebashing (or not), overnight stay with campfire.
These are the members of QL already signed up for the event. Please help us set this event up (as I am new to BIG event organization) and let's make this a get-together to remember!!!

Thanks everybody! :)))
*Mind Your Internet Manners*
By t_coffee_or_me on Sun, 13/04/2008 - 8:03pmJust as in your real everyday life, manners are important on the Internet as
well. Although it may seem like you can say anything to anybody for any
reason (and you can, actually), there may still be repercussions to such
actions. Getting slammed (or spammed) with angry emails will be the likely
response from many, or you may be barred from your favorite chat room. You can save yourself a large amount of grief if you follow a few simple rules.
Fake Miracles
By ikei on Sat, 21/11/2009 - 3:54pmThe original video was a documentary that exposes frauds who use tricks to deceive the poor. It was aired on BBC and other major networks, the author of the documentary explains in detail how he understands these are tricks. I also did not change the name of anything, I gave it a descriptive title and admit it is part of a documentary in the description. You should try educating yourself before you make accusations and insult the intelligence of someone who has done their research.
Do not Judge before you think !!
By Eagle_of_Heaven on Sat, 21/11/2009 - 12:43pmTwo tough questions - are you ready?
Question 1:
If you knew a woman who was pregnant, who had 8 kids already, threewho were deaf, two who were blind, one mentally retarded, and she had syphilis, would you recommend that she have an abortion?
Read the next question before looking at the response for this one.
Question 2:
It is time to elect a new world leader, and only your vote counts.
Here are the facts about the three candidates.
Candidate A
Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologists. He's had two mistresses. He also chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day.
Candidate B
He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in college, and drinks a quart of whiskey every evening.
Candidate C

but i have to comment:
logic always prevails to those who open their hearts and minds free from misconceptions and prejudice.
Been wondering
By M.E on Fri, 20/11/2009 - 8:04pmI've been wondering if it happens to you too.
Sometimes when I look into a guys eyes, when I am simply walking down the street, I fall in love with his eyes!! I know it's not love, but it's a weird feeling, that makes you so curious about that person.
Then I start wondering how's he like when he smiles, talks and laugh, and if he's really worth me thinking of.
God gave me this gift, whenever I look at someone into their eyes, I could know some things about them.
Some people I look into their eyes I see rudeness, literally. Some I look into their eyes and feel this obvious kindness. Some I look into their eyes, and feel love in the air. Some I look into their eyes and feel scared and some I look into their eyes and feel so safe.

are there any video games cafe in doha?

First drop of Doha rain
By Wanderer on Thu, 19/11/2009 - 8:07pmI was walking at the Aspire Academy when the first drop of rain fell. Luckily, I had my camera with me as it was a family outing evening. Here is it, Doha's first rain. Do you see a droplet of water on the left bottom side of the picture?
