kickboxing

Dear All,

I was wondering if anybody had an interest in martial arts?

Are there any martial arts dojos in Doha? Apart from Tae Kwon Do? I am looking for Kyokushin in particular but thai-boxing, muay thai, or kickboxing would do.

I haven't moved there yet but I will hopefully be there within a couple of months.

I wonder if it's possible for women to learn boxing or kickboxing. My endurance and muscles are really useless at the moment and this sounds like much more fun than standing on a treadmill and going nowhere.

Where could I go to, do I need to join a club or just take lessons (with other people), and what costs would be connected to that? I'm not really interested in a club with pool and other facilities I won't use anyway.
