somebody said rent is going to be reduce. by budget was 3k. And I am not getting a one br house near najma at all..

How much is the usual or average cost for a (Filipino) male bedpacer in Doha with the following amenities :::
1. at most 4 in a room ( 2 is much better)
2. aircon (is this centralize? 24/7 ? or with specific time/schedule to turn-on?
3. internet connection ( Mbps = ?)
4. electricity
5. water

Really need to adjust..please share your feedback

Are the downtown lanes broad enough for cars in doha...unlike china where only bicycles are allowed in down town.

your suggestion will really help me plan my car.....also consider the buy back value when you suggest...

DOHA: A senior official of the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning has denied rumours circulating through emails that soft drinks being sold in the country contain ingredients made from pig organs.

Khalid Al Saad, director of Public Health at the Ministry told Al Sharq that such rumours were totally unfounded. The soft drinks sold in the country have nothing to do with pigs, he clarified.

The rumour mill had it that the recent hike in soft drinks prices had been caused by a rise in the prices of pig in the international market since some of the ingredients were made from the animal.

Professionals in Qatar make more money than their counterparts in any other country in the Middle East, knocking the UAE off the top spot it has commanded for the past year.

More than a third of Qatar’s white-collar workers, or 39 per cent, earn between US$3,001 (Dh11,000) and $8,000 each month, higher than the UAE, where 37 per cent earn between those levels, according to research by the employment website Bayt.com, in conjunction with the polling company YouGov Siraj.

Just i want to inform you regarding my experince with DHL , for just sending an envolope to Abu Dhabi ihave been requested to pay 440 riyals ,even with this price i can book a flight ticket :)
And i tried with othre branch of DHL, guess price come down to 320 , when i asked to price differnece they could not able to give proper answer
And when i asked for receiver going to pay they give me most stupid reasons i have ever meet ,receiver should send a form they should accept ,i need to fill a form ,and open an account ,which will take a week
and just next to DHL i tried other courier service for misunderstanding i dont want to give the name ,and they charged only 40 Riyals ,no Question no trouble...

I am a bachelor & want to know the life in Qatar & cost of living with & without family. i like to live a good life ( not lavish & luxury ). secondly what are the prerequisite of driving license & procedure. your response will be highly appreciated.
