The best tip I can give you is to be knowledgeable about real estate investing. Listening to the guru's on TV, buying their program does not make you a real estate investor.

I would suggest that you go to the book store and purchase several books on buying, flipping and selling as well as other books on how to purchase distressed property.

One of the things I would not depend on is a real estate agent,. most of them are if you don't have 10% down with a 720 credit score and a pre-approval form in your hand, don't even want to talk to you, so I would pass on the real estate agent, you will eventually meet one through trial and error,mostly error.

I you do not have enough money to invest in real estate you will need several if not more investors to assist you in being successful.

Is Qtel milking us with their Blackberry Service offer?

We have created a Facebook group called "Qtel please Fair Blackberry fees" but I wanna know your opinion.

I was shocked to find out that my friends pay 60 riyals for unlimited data usage in Egypt
and 99 SR for 1 GB in Saudi
and Qtel is charging us 125 riyals for just 10 MB
is that fair?

Sometimes I get the strange feeling I am being taken when I am charged an outrageous amount of money to be driven around DOHA. I pay the driver more than my housemaid.......and she works all the time. What's up with that! Can anyone tell me what is a reasonable price to pay a driver to go from point A to B such as:
From: Vellagio to Gold Souk?
From: Vellagio to Ritz Carlton?
From: Vellagio to the Airport?

How much do I add when a driver parks and waits for me (for example if I tell him to wait for me for approx. 2 hours). How much should he be paid for waiting?

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS? Is it better to just call KARWA service?

I heard expatriates are not allowed to have a full-time driver, is this true?

Company is providing fully furnished accommodation containing (All furniture/connections like : Utensils, T.V., Frize, A.C., Water, Net , Electricity , T.V.Cable.

I am thinking to shift to Doha with my wife, 2 kids (2 year, 6 months) & with one baby sitter.
May I manage to save some money?
Whts the present cost of living in Doha for such family?

Why are there more property ads than job ads in Qatar? Would you agree if I said that the economy is not as good as it looks? Why all this farce? Why all this fake real estate boom? How long is it gonna last?>

Few days ago we were going for our daughters health check up, on the signal our driver saw a girl from Philippine crying and asking for help. My wife called her and asked what happened? she started crying profusely. after a lot of effort she regained her senses and showed her swelled face and bruised hands, then she told us that she worked as a full time house maid with an Egyptian family, and was sponsored by them. The lady of the house treated her so badly, she was without food for two days and forced to do all the chores in the same condition. when she couldnt do chores to the lady's satisfaction she shouted at her and thn began kicking her and beating wid bamboo stick. she requested to give her belongings so that she could leave but she refused.she even snatched away her slippers..
