I'm a tax lawyer woking for an european investment bank based in Switzerland and i am seeking an international tax planning job in Qatar, more precisely in investment funds with cross-border activities. I am currently looking for info re Qatari Diar. Do they hire at the moment ? Have they got in-house tax experts ? Is it a requirement to speak arab ?

this is my first post on Qatar living.

i want to know about the scope of animation, particularly, character animation in Qatar.

i also want to know whether there are any quality animation training centers here.. And how many of u would opt taking animation as a career after your school or college? Or do a course in animation just for the sake of learning it for fun? Or opt for game development?

i have a plan to set up an animation training center in Qatar that can provide good quality training. our team includes animators with over 10 years experience in the field of art and animation.

what do you say about this?

With all of the discussions going on in various threads about fair unfair I bring my 2 cent to the table.

I think the whole cultural mafia here in Doha is unfair.

If you are from Sudan, the Sudanese give you a fair deal and not others. If you are Indian, Pakistani, Filipino ect then its the same, you get more/better service than others who are not from your ethnicity or culture. You have jobs held for your group and will literally trash bin CV's from non compatriots (I have seen it happen more than once).

Why do you guys complain so much since you have this country in your clutches?

Why aren't you making positive changes since you lot run everything rather than complaining so much?

Explain please.
