Salary and Allowances

I know I posted this before but I am still looking for more answers..I have an interview with an English school today, when I asked for what position she just said admin, so its either administrator or assit admin. I am a Canadian female, never worked in middle east before, so my question is, what salary should i be expeting? what offer should I flat out say no to? and what kind of offer should i consider????????

I WAS OFFERED A GRADE 16 JOB AT QP,25000 BASIC 6500 HOUSING, FOR ME,WIFE AND 2 KIDS,I SIGNED THE OFFER WHILE OVERSESE,WHEN I LOOKED AT THE HOUSING ALLOWENCE I FOUND IT IS NOT ENOUGH,COMPANY SAID IN DUKHAN I HAVE A FREE HOUSING?SO DO I ASK TO INCREASE MY HOUSING ALLOWENCE BEFORE MOVING,AND THEY SAID MY SALARY WILL BE FIXED FOR 3 YEARES,IS THIS NORMAL?

I am a Canadian female under husband's sponsership....i have been called for an interview with an english co-ed school for administration. does anyone have any idea how much the salaries run for this sort of positions????....I have my interview tomorrow and I would really like t know how much I should be expecting???.........thanx

I was offered a package from QP for a Grade 15 job
- Basic 19,000
- Housing 14,000
- Furniture allowance 55,000
- Transport 2,000
- Medical coverage, free education for children
- Return air ticket for family.
- performance bonus
- Annual increment

My family will not join me in Qatar and hence my status will change from 'family' to 'Bachelor' status which lead to lower in housing and furniture allowance. The HR said QP very seldom offer Grade 16 package.

I have master degree and 17 years of working experience with 1 year in Oil & Gas.

Should I accept this is offer? Could you please advise me on this.

i just received an offer from a QA Gov. body - and it is 5000 USD plus usual benefits - housing allowance, car allowance, ensurances, etc.

For me it seems bot be enough to move in DOha and actually live and still keeping a part of the payment for going back home...

So pls. advise, if anyone could share with me if 5000 USD is ok for a executive manager position - in a gov. institution. I have experience and all.

i need to make the move, withdraw or accept... how do you feel it?

I'm being offered a transfer for approx 21000 QAR per month. This is base and car allowance combined. Plus, each month I'm bonused on the profitability of the office which can range from nil to thousands. I'm single (except for my two cats :) ).... am I going to be able to live well on this? Would be looking at a 2 bedroom place and I'd purchase a vehicle outright cash so no monthly payments to worry about. Qatar is income tax-free, correct?
Would appreciate anyone's comments.

1) What is Sr Engineer's grade in RG?
2) Is there a grade between Engineer & Senior Engineer?
2) Is the offer good enough?
3) Average monthly living expenditure?
4) Good Indian Schools?
5) If possible the vertical hierarchy?

hi, i got a job offer from qatar.

basic salary : rs. 25000/- (indian rupees)

accommodation+ transportation+medical expenses+to& fro ticket after 2 years to the original destination

food expenses i have to bear , co will provide mess & cook.

yearly hike of qr1000 + yearly bonus of qr6000 minimum

is it a good package . i don't have any gulf experience.

how much i cud be able to save . i don't spend much.

Hi guys!!! Iam currently working in Dubai as a Draftsman/Cadd Operator with more than 10years experience with a little bit low salary and I have an offer to work there in Qatar please help me decide. I want to get my family with me and i dont know the cost of living there in Qatar i have 1child who will be in a kindergarten. This is my offer;

Salary: QAR 8,000 per month
Duration of assignment: Twenty Four (24) months
Location: Doha, Qatar
Working schedules: 10 hrs per day, 5 days a week, with Fridays and Saturdays off.
Vacation: 30 calendar days per year (possibility to divide the 30 days vacation into 2 * 15 days)
International Transportations:
Mobilization/Demobilization ticket® Provided by MPH
