Visas and Permits

I find Qatar Living very informative.
I just hope somebody can give me an advice regarding sponsorship of my son.
Is it possible for me to sponsor my son with the follwing pointers:
1. I am earning more than 7500QR as per required salary bracket.
2. My Sponsor will provide for me Letter needed to apply.
3. I already completed the requirements the Red Ribbon things of my COllege Cert and TOR and Birth and Marriage contract.
4. My husband is in the Philippines, I am alone here and wish to bring my son here and study.

Just let me know the procedure for transferring my wife's visa from her fathers sponsorship to mine.. My visa is Engineer, salary is 7500QR. but just now i got the job and visa. so no bank statement. i have the contract from the company. where i have to go for this issue. pls let me know

Can i get a family visit for my wife as she was on a visit and just went back home? i heard i have 2 wait for 3 months for another visit visa. is tht true?

Hi all,

There's a possibility I'll be moving to Qatar in the next few months for a job. All (work) permits etc will be arranged by my employer and my wife and child will move with me.

My wife however enjoys work and we would consider setting up our own business as well so she'll stay occupied and be able to practice her profession parttime. We won't need any additional workers.

I read a few things about requirement for sponsors etc etc. If I have a job in Qatar with the requirement permits, would I be able to sponsor my wife in order to start her own business, as child psychologist, or is there a requirement to have a local Qatari as sponsor?

good day!im working before in qatar..but last year my contract was end...and my husband still working in qatar and now he's planning to get me as husband sponsor..but the problem is they notice that there is bracket on the salary and his salary is not suitable...what are the other way to go back to qatar?give me some advice and help.

What is the process for transfer of visa?
who shoulders the expenses for the transfer? is it the responibility of the company? will i be paying anything for the transfer?

may i ask here anybody familiar w/ visit visa being renewed
