Hello.

I'm planning to go to Umrah from Qatar. I've got an RP. I want my Mum to join me on my Umrah trip. My Mum is a UK national who lives in the UK. Can she arrive in Qatar on a visit/tourist visa and then get a visa from the Sausi Embassy in Doha in order to go on Umrah from Qatar?

I am a Canadian citizen currently residing in another country. I got a job offer from Qatar and they need some attested/verified copies of my degrees. I am including some detailed information.

I did my bachelors degree in Canada, and I have a masters degree from United States. I would appreciate if someone could guide me about the attestation process.

Can I get the degrees attested/verified by the respective Canadian and US embassies in the country I am residing?

Do I need to get both degrees attested or the recent most (Masters) degree would be enough?

Just wondering if Im ultimately offered a position in Qatar by a top tier Company, in order for me to secure a work / resident visa do I need to send/bring with me Original School Education certificates ?, my issue is that I have been in the work place for many years and I left full time Education over 20 years ago !, Im not certain I have all of my Education certificates and the quality of the ones I do have are in poor condition.

Would this be a show stopper in terms of my being issued a work visa and ultimately a resident visa.

I do have all my technical course/certificates from workplace training etc...

Hi, I am an expat and my babygirl was born last Nov.5, 2009 here in Qatar and I am still on the process of acquiring for her birth certificate. I would like to know how long is the allowable months for the baby to acquire a visa before I have to pay penalty?........My Embassy told me that it will take 1 month for her passport (MRP - machine readable passport)to be process............do I have enough time?

I need to undergo finger printing for 3rd time. I am not sure about the problem.

But is there any ceiling on maximum no. of fingerprinting? In case this is not successful thru their scanning machines, Is there any other alternative like manual ink prints (good old way)?

I'm planning to bring a friend here and i met a guy who offered me help to get a visa ( Business Visa- female)can extend up to 3 months plus a ticket and renewal of visa for 2 months. the package is QR7600.

I would like to know if this is still available? I applied for this type of visa for my sister last year in the Airport Immigration. I went there last week and they said they're not issuing this type of visa anymore (as per my understanding in the Airport Immigration only). I was told to apply for hotel visa instead or go to Garafa Immigration.
