AL-AHLI Hospital

Hi guys,

My wife will be delivering our baby soon. My company does not provide any health insurance here in Qatar. Can you guys help me out with your experience:

I am looking for a health insurance which covers medical problems, general consultations and prescribed medicines for BOTH my wife and our new born baby?

Can you let me know which are the better Insurance companies and what are the approximate costs of the coverage. Will a family health insurance which includes me as well be more expensive, if so by how much approximately? Which are the insurance companies which have tie ups with Al-Ahli hospital and Doha clinic, for example?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

My baby is 7 mounths old and has an development delay and he needs a psysioterapy treatment. can anyone recommend me a specialised clinic( other then Al-Ahli hospital).

Hello, I need an advise of experienced moms.

My son he is 5,6 years old he has a problem with breathing through the nose at nights so we went to doctor at Al-Ahli hospital. He was examined and conclusion was that his adenoids need surgery and thus we need to see the ear-nose-throat doctor in Hamad hospital.

Could anyone recommend me a knowlegible ear-nose-throat child surgery here in Hammad hospital.

We have a newborn baby, borned in Al-Ahli Hospital, last week.
And we r under different company sponsorships.
For birth certificate, going to National Health Authority and submitted all Documents.
They are accepted it and said next week go to Salwa road for finger print.
Have any Idea About This? Who’s Finger Print? Baby’s Or Parents?

Good Day to you

Yesterday we faced an incident, while we were at Al-Ahli Hospital around 8 pm. We were about to enter in our Car, One Lady (wearing the face cover) holding a small kid walked to our car and Asked me which area you are going and can u drop me there? I asked her, which area you want to go? She replied “Matar”.Then she Continues with her story…actually am coming to Hamad Hospital but I have some other Test here, am from Pakistan my husband is a driver, we have two kids one is with him. His car is somewhere in Doha driving….etc.
In her talk I felt something odd. I told her first we r going to City Center then only Going to MatarGadheem , then she replied..ok just drop me in City center and I can get good transport from there.

I got a call from Al-Ahli Hospital that they are organising a workshop & presentation on back pain on 15th April from 4-8 pm has anybody heard about it
