Hello African students in Doha, Qatar.

Good Day All Of You!

I am looking for African students in Doha to interview. The interview is for academic purpose, and has nothing to do with politics, bossiness, career etc. I am looking for students coming from Central, Eastern, Southern and Western parts of Africa. Students coming from other parts of the world also can chare their experiences with me as students in Doha and I will consider their experiences in the research too.

Happy Maha Shivratri To All Indians...

Shivaratri is a festival of great significance for Hindus all over the globe. Literally meaning Shiva’s night, it represents the high state of spiritual realization when the world of relativity fades away and perfect peace and calm prevails. On this phenomenal night, the seeker remains fully aware of his identity with Shiva, the source of perennial joy and thus experiences eternal truth, bliss and lasting beauty-Satyam, Shivam, Sundaram. Esoterically, it is the most sacred moment of the union of Jiva, individual soul, and Paramatma, the Supreme Godhead.

Childhood Faded Away

Childhood Faded away,
to a far away land,
simple, so simple were we,
Days of Play,
Going our Way,
Having fun, no care,
for another day,
time for us stood still,
playing king of the hill
Childhood Faded away
thinking of another day,
summer time was fine,
when friends were kind,
swiming holes were filled,
our hearts were thrilled
Childhood Faded Away
to a time that makes me sway
many years have passed away,
since childhood faded to another day,
Childhood Faded to places,
UNKNOWN TO US
floating somewhere in time.

and not just the rain, I'm missing courtesy

ok weather aside and thats still a big issue for me, I am struggling massively with the lack of common old courtesy in this place. I have been here for a month now and am still in shock when out on the roads of Doha, I'm sorry to say that most drivers are bad. I've been tooted at, almost driven in to, had lights flashed at me, cut up lots of times, no one lets anyone out or stops at zebra crossings! what is wrong with everyone? The UK has lots of faults, but I can honestly say that driving here and driving at home is worlds apart, so apart from the rain I miss the courtesy of being let out at junctions and not having to take your life in your hands and just pull out! I also have a small child in my car and god help me the first person that rams me!
