30 days for Christmas

SEASONS GREETINGS!

Three men died on Christmas Eve and were met by Saint Peter at the pearly gates.

'In honor of this holy season' Saint Peter said, 'You must each possess something that symbolizes Christmas to get into heaven.'

The first man fumbled through his pockets and pulled out a lighter. He flicked it on. 'It represents a candle', he said.

'You may pass through the pearly gates' Saint Peter said.

The second man reached into his pocket and pulled out a set of keys. He shook them and said, 'They're bells.'

Saint Peter said 'You may pass through the pearly gates'.

The third man started searching desperately through his pockets and finally pulled out a pair of women's panties.

St. Peter looked at the man with a raised eyebrow and asked, 'And just what do those symbolize?'

The man replied, 'These are Carols.'

And So The Christmas Begins......

LOVE AND TIME!!!!!!!!!!

Love and Time

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left. Except for Love.

Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment.

When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.

Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said,
"Richness, can you take me with you?"
Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you."

Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. "Vanity, please help me!"
"I can't help you, Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat," Vanity answered.

Sadness was close by so Love asked, "Sadness, let me go with you."
"Oh . . . Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself!"

Happiness passed by Love, too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her.

Suddenly, there was a voice, "Come, Love, I will take you." It was an elder. So blessed and overjoyed, Love even forgot to ask the elder where they were going. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way. Realizing how much was owed the elder,

Love asked Knowledge, another elder, "Who Helped me?"
"It was Time," Knowledge answered.
"Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?"
Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is."

WEN A LIZARD CAN DEN Y CANT WE!!!!!!!!!

This happened in Japan .

In order to renovate the house, someone in Japan breaks open the wall.
Japanese houses normally have a hollow space between the wooden walls.
When tearing down the walls, he found that there was a lizard stuck
there because a nail from outside hammered into one of its feet.

He sees this, feels pity, and at the same time curious, as when he
checked the nail, it was nailed 10 years ago when the house was first
built.. !

What happened?

The lizard has survived in such position for 10 years!!!!!!!!!!
In a dark wall partition for 10 years without moving, it is impossible
and mind-boggling.
Then he wondered how this lizard survived for 10 years! Without moving a
single step--since its foot was nailed!
So he stopped his work and observed the lizard, what it has been doing,
and what and how it has been eating.
Later, not knowing from where it came appears another lizard, with food
in its mouth.
Ah! He was stunned and touched deeply.

For the lizard that was stuck by nail; another lizard has been feeding
it for the past 10 years...
Imagine? It has been doing that untiringly for 10 long years, without
giving up hope on its partner.

Think, will u do that to your partner?
Think that will you do it to your Mom, who brought you after a big
struggle of nine long months?
Or at least to your Dad, Friends, Co-workers, brothers and Sisters?
Imagine what a small creature can do that a creature blessed with a
brilliant mind can't.

As information and communication technology advances, our access to
information becomes faster and faster.
But the distance between human beings . .. . is it getting closer as
well?

Please never abandon your loved ones
Never Say U R Busy When They Really Need You...
You May Have The Entire World At Your Feet......
But You Might Be The Only World To Them....

A Moment of negligence might break the very heart which loves you thru
all odds....

Before you say something just remember. It takes a moment to Break but
an entire life to make...

To Live Use Heart and to Survive use Brains.

Then Life would be a paradise Unfurling only Love Joy and
Happiness....

WHY INVEST IN THE PHILIPPINES

14 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD INVEST IN THE PHILIPPINES?

1. Housing is always a rewarding investment as it gives one a sense of pride and ownership.

2. After a 7-year downturn, the Asian market that includes the Philippines is expected to recover and outperform other markets.

3. Consumer incomes are rising, unemployment is falling and interest rates are down.

4. Prices in Metro Manila are inexpensive compared to other major cities around the world.

5. Property is a good hedge against inflation.

6. Rental income from property is a stable source of income, and while it may fluctuate, is highly unlikely to vanish altogether, unlike stocks.

7. Real estate is always a hedge. Although prices can certainly fall as well as rise, property values will never fall to zero unlike shares or hedge funds.

8. Property is a kind of hybrid asset with the capital appreciation of a stock but the income producing capacity of a bond.

9. With a more robust economy, prices are very affordable and the payment options and/or financing terms are more flexible.

10. Philippine property appreciates at an average of 10% per year, which is higher than 3 to 6% US properties get. This translates to a higher ROI.

11. The slump in real estate in the last 7 years has resulted to a dramatic reduction in the supply of new real estate projects.

12. The demand for housing of all types is now more than ever greater than supply.

13. The backlog for housing is about 4 million units.

14. Units that are being pre-sold generally appreciate in value by 10 - 30% by the time the project is finished.

and WHY INVEST IN CENTURY PROPERTIES GROUP?

1. CENTURY PROPERTIES GROUP holds a formidable team of the most accomplished, most creative and most highly-regarded individuals in the industry. With a combined experience of 400 years in real estate, we hold ourselves responsible for the creation of some of the most unique, outstanding and visionary projects in Philippine real estate history.

It has more than 40 developments in its impressive portfolio including the award-winning Essensa East Forbes; has over US$2 billion assets under management; and has never failed in delivering its projects as promised.

4. CENTURY PROPERTIES GROUP currently has six new projects that have been well received by the market.

• South of Market (Soma) in The Fort, Global City has been completed and turned over to residents almost one year ahead of schedule.
• Our Bel-Air Soho residential boutique development in Makati was sold in approximately 3 months!
• Soho Central in Ortigas is equally impressive with over 650 units pre-sold in less than two years.
• Century’s first horizontal project, Canyon Ranch, was already 75 percent sold in less than 16 months.
• Essensa East Forbes was awarded by Asiaweek as the Best Residential Building in the Philippines.
All India Florist - think before you order

I am sure the name "allindiaflorist.com" will make the bells ring to many of my expatriate friends. For those who are not so familiar with this name, allindiaflorist.com is one of the many internet based Companies that assists people in foreign countries to send flowers and gifts to their dearest ones in their home countries. It is quite natural and a matter of joy for any expatriate to send a bunch of flowers or a cake or any such gift to their relatives on a special occasion, even after knowing that they charge exorbitantly high amounts for such services. But after receiving payments from the sender, are they really keen to deliver the gifts in time and in good condition? Well, based on experiences, my answer to this question is that in many cases, these Companies do not deliver the items on the specified day, thereby defeating the very purpose of delivering the gift. Or they deliver the gift in an unpresentable or shabby condition. In most cases, disappointed customers hesitate to trigger an argument with the Company, and the issue thus gets settled without anybody knowing. So, if you are planning to send a gift to your spouse on your wedding anniversary, or planning to send a gift to your child on his / her birthday by utilising the services of the web-based Company, think again. It would be better to buy the gift by yourself and send it in advance by Q-Post, or by courier (sending charges will be comparatively high), but you can make sure that the gift will reach your near & dear.

To all our Thia friends in Qatar

Happy 'Loy Kratong' may all your wishes come forward, thinking of the love ones we leave back home in Thailand.

Loy Krathong Day is one of the most popular festivals of Thailand celebrated annually on the Full-Moon Day of the Twelfth Lunar Month. It takes place at a time when the weather is fine as the rainy season is over and there is a high water level all over the country.

"Loy" means "to float" and a "Krathong" is a lotus-shaped vessel made of banana leaves. The Krathong usually contains a candle, three joss-sticks, some flowers and coins.

In fact, the festival is of Brahmin origin in which people offer thanks to the Goddess of the water. Thus, by moonlight, people light the candles and joss-sticks,

Make a wish and launch their Krathongs on canals, rivers or even small ponds. It is believed that the Krathongs carry away sins and bad luck, and the wishes that have been made for the new year due to start. Indeed, it is the time to be joyful and happy as the sufferings are floated away.
The festival starts in the evening when there is a full moon in the sky. People of all walks of life carry their Krathongs to the nearby rivers. After lighting candles and joss-sticks and making a wish, they gently place the Krathongs on the water and let them drift away till they go out of sight.

http://sunsite.au.ac...
