Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab
A Pakistani man on trial in India over the attacks that killed 166 people in Mumbai last year retracted his confession yesterday, saying he never took part and had been framed by police.
Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab rejected evidence given by witnesses during the eight-month trial, saying they had been told by police to identify him and that he had only admitted his role because he had been threatened.
“I was not present at VT,” the 22-year-old told the court, referring to Victoria Terminus, the former name of Mumbai’s main railway station, where he is accused of opening fire on November 26, killing 52 and injuring over 100.

By svelte_saggi on Tue, 17/11/2009 - 8:45amMumbai: David Coleman Headley, the suspected Lashkar-e-Toiba operative arrested in the US by the FBI for plotting terror attacks to be carried out in India and Denmark, had stayed at an apartment in Breach Candy area while living in Mumbai.
According to reports, Headley had stayed on the fifth floor of A Block of Shyam Niwas housing society in south Mumbai’s Breach Candy area.
The apartment – Number 56, where Headley stayed as a paying guest along with an elderly Sindhi couple for almost a year beginning April 2008 – is located near the US Consulate.
The revelation comes amidst the investigating agencies’ efforts to retrace the steps of Headley and his associate Tahawwur Rana across India.
The Sindhi couple described Headley as “sweet and charming”.

Kerala receives threat of multiple bomb blast
By every_mothers_n... on Mon, 17/08/2009 - 9:14amThe cyber police cell in Kerala has traced an e-mail threat from the United Arab Emirates, warning of widespread bomb blasts in the state, if a separate Muslim state, comprising districts of north Kerala, is not created.
Speaking to IANS, inspector general of police Tomin J Thachenkery said on Friday that the e-mail was received on Thursday at a few media offices.
"We immediately began our work and found that the mail is from United Arab Emirates based Etisalat and the domain is that of Yahoo. Since a first information report is required to trace out the IP of the computer, a case has been registered here at the Kannur Town police station."

By khemcho on Tue, 21/07/2009 - 11:02amIn a shocking turn to the Mumbai terror attacks case, Mohammad Ajmal Amir ‘Kasab’ on Monday confessed to his crime before the Special Sessions Court at the Arthur Road jail here.
“Mujhe gunha kabool hai [I admit to the crime]. I want to confess.” The lone surviving terrorist of the 26/11 attacks stunned the courtroom with these words, uttered just as the court was preparing to record the evidence of a witness.

Calm and composed, betraying no emotion or signs of agitation, Ajmal spoke for about four hours about the carnage, his training and his first encounter with the Mujahideen in Pakistan.

Radical Islam: Terror is its tool
By skdkak on Wed, 11/03/2009 - 2:16pmTime has come for the unspoken to be spoken. Radical Islam is at war with India.
The objectives of the war are to destroy India as a nation, as a people, as a culture and as a multifaced society and replace it with a phenomenon which, starting as an enclave in Saudi Arabia in the 7th century has already enveloped a good part of the globe.
Its spread so far is a proof of its inherent strength. In its historical march to its present expanse, it has destroyed empires, countries, religions, culture and people. It is continuing to make inroads into territories where it was unknown till a little while ago. Those who fail to comprehend its dynamics do so at their own peril.
Torture of alleged Terrorists !
By britexpat on Wed, 11/02/2009 - 10:23amThe CIA uses waterboarding, but the FBI takes a different approach!
A SUSPECT in the Mumbai Massacre has claimed a woman FBI agent tortured him with SEX during an interrogation.
Fahim Ansari — accused of helping the jihadi gang who killed 173 in November — says the American performed a sex act on him against his will.
He claims this amounts to torture because he is a devout Muslim.
Ansari alleges the woman stripped him naked, abused him all night — leaving wounds and bite marks — and showed him hardcore porn films.
His lawyer, Ejaz Naqvi, has filed papers alleging the woman “sexually harassed him”.
A court in the Indian city ordered medical checks on “wounds on his private parts and all over his body.”
