- Mark Laird, managing director for Mil-tek Middle East
Mil-tek have successfully established a sales and service network to offer solutions to many different industries and private businesses in this time and have been educating companies to see their waste as a commodity rather than a liability through separation, reducing and recycling. Mil-tek shows their customers that it's possible to combine economic profitability with environmental concern in waste handling.

URGENT ACTION REQUIRED - FOR "International Day of Climate Action"

October 24 marks the "International Day of Climate Action" and Qatar is one of only 23 countries that have nothing planned yet.

SustainableQatar requests the Doha Community participate in the "International Day of Climate Action" in Qatar. We would like to do this in order to show global solidarity with regards to this issue and to allow the organizers of www.350.org to announce at the United Nations Climate Change conference in Copenhagen in less then 2 months that 171 countries around the world were taking part in the "International Day of Climate Action".
