Members of the Qatar Living Volunteer Group have conducted their second distribution campaign, supplying a large number of labourers with water and other supplies to make it through the summer.
Following the collection and sharing of items last weekend, the group decided to host another collection on Thursday evening before distributing the donations to some of the neediest residents of Doha.
The group leader, known only as “Speed”, explained that the campaign had gone extremely well and that simply being outside during the daylight hours gave all the volunteers an idea of the extreme temperatures and conditions in which the labourers work.

Doha, June 20 (QNA) -

Tests on samples of energy drink "Red Bull" in Doha have shown that it was free of cocaine, according to a state health organization. The Supreme Council for Health Saturday said that laboratory tests on random samples of Red Bull confirmed that it is cocaine-free. Meanwhile, sample test conducted on another energy drink "Red Bull Cola" have found a percentage of alcohol that is not allowed in energy drinks. The state concerned authorities will take all necessary procedures to withdraw and ban any drink that is proved to be harmful to health

Energy drink tested for traces of cocaine

The Supreme Council of Health yesterday said it was making tests and analysis on the energy drink Red Bull after Hong Kong found traces of cocaine in its contents on Tuesday. Earlier, Taiwanese authorities confiscated about 18,000 cases of the popular energy drink.

“The Supreme Council for Health has taken samples of Red Bull to make in-house tests to see whether the drink contains traces of cocaine as some reports (elsewhere in the world) have suggested,” a statement said.
