BINGO!

Last week, Qatar Living (http://www.qatarliving.com) was at number two in The Peninsula's internet charts. This week, they're not printing a Technology supplement. However, I thought people would like to know that QL reached the top spot this week.

Qatarliving.Com climbing the Charts! :-D

I was reading the "Oasis" section of the PENINSULA newspaper and guess what: Qatarliving.com STEPPED UP TO ONE Notch UP (from TOP 3 to Top 2) in the Internet Charts - Qatar/Local Category.

Great work, Qatari! Congratulations!!!

Note from Qatari:
Just to give you some numbers to go along with this - in the last month over 300,000 people visited Qatar Living and viewed over 10 million pages. We've had over 900,000 visits during that time and each visit is approximately 10 minutes. That's just insane ;-)

Of course, this now makes Qatar Living the top consumer website in Qatar.

So thank YOU! You make Qatar Living the fantastic and wonderful site that it is. Keep coming back and let all your friends know that if it isn't on QL, it isn't in Qatar ;-)

Qatar Living : Topping the Charts

The Peninsula started a great new feature this week - the "Internet Charts" which track the most popular websites in Qatar. Qatar Living comes in just behind Qatar University and the Ministry of the Interior as the third most popular local site.

We're stoked at the recognition - QL has broken 8m pageviews last month and now has over 60,000 registered users. In fact, nearly 300,000 people visit Qatar Living every month.

This week has also seen another list of chart toppers from the folks over at the Visitor blog - more subjective but confirming something that QLers have known all along - that Qatar Living is the best website in Qatar!

Of course, the best recognition isn't that written up in charts or lists - it's the satisfaction that we have as a community knowing that we have helped so many people over the last three years have a better and more enjoyable life in Qatar.

So give yourselves a round of applause - QL is the great place that it is because of all your fantastic contributions!
