prepaid credit cards

Hi all, does anyone know where I can get prepaid credit cards ( without bank account )? such card can be used with online shopping, or any atm, and can be refilled through the bank
So does anybody know any bank here in Doha that offer such service

Car loan

I have been applied for a car loan for a second hand 4X4 with a leading bank. The Bank asked for full cover insurance certificate before loan approval and I given to them. After 2 week later bank again requested for guarantor and 20% down payment. I said I could not produce a guarantor and down payment as I am new in Qatar (4months). Now it turned to 30% down payment and no guarantor.

Why bank rising these issues after a month and I spend money for insurance.
Please advise some one, that what I can do now. Any legal actions or loosing insurance money

Where can I get Nepalese Rupees?

I'm off on Holiday to Everest Base Camp, but have spoken to my bank about foreign currency but they can't help. Also tried the exchange centre in City Centre. Any one know where I can some money changed for sure?

May I know the quality of QNB- HDFC NRI Service?

I am intending to open a QNB-HDFC NRI account. do any one has such an account? Can any body advise its eaxact pros and cons?

It is much convenient for me than Doha bank and CBQ NRI.

Valuable advices are most welcome.

Help! Banking card problem emergency

So, I went to top up my Hala card and my Visa Debit card won't work. NONE of them will. There is money in there, and I have gotten money out previously and purchased things here, both at the mall and my hotel. So, now, all the sudden, I am told that my card is INVALID.Anyone know why? Before I made a $$$long distance call to my bank.

We are about to move into our villa and our shipment will be here today. I really need to furnish my home!

i would like to ask if it is true that the you can only apply for a maximum 15 checks in the bank? i tried to get 60 checks from my bank which is ahlibank but they told me that i can only get 15 checks. but i need it for a vihicle loan anyone have the same experience? thanks

Taking a car with a loan outside of Qatar

Does anyone have experience taking a car with a loan outside of Qatar. Is the bank willing to give no objection letters for leaving the country or is it a big hassle?

Closing a loan account

Recently I closed my car loan and then the bank gave me a clearance letter. they told me to go to traffic dept to change my car registration card. is anybody have done such thing before? what is the procedures & what docs are required? any fees will apply? Thanks for the infos

Pearl / Porto Arabia /California Tower ????

I bought a 1 Room apartment /-a-t-/ Pearl / Porto Arabia in California Tower around 2 years ago from Era Gulf Realestate (One of the worst ever Realestate Office),through commercial bank of Qatar with 10% Deposit, and 90% installment, first payment on the receiving day.... and I was supposed to receive it February 2009, unfortunately, as all the Pearl project was delayed, I was one of the unlucky ones as well to be informed that I'm gonna receive it in May 2010...and starting from February 2009 I started paying 7000 riyals interest to Commercial Bank...

Anyway 2 month ago, UDC called me and said they wanna meet me regarding the apartment. When I met them, it turned that UDC decided to take over California Tower project as the original developer from Kuwait was bankrupted...
