Welcoming the month of Ramadan
By Khalid the tiger on Sun, 16/08/2009 - 4:41pmI hope many of us will know more about Ramadan, please be relax and do not take this as a bushing post, please consider it as sharing.
Welcoming the Arrival of Ramadan
The month of Ramadan has arrived again, the month of fasting and prayer. It is the month that provides an opportunity for forgiveness from Allah and emancipation from our sins. It is the month for performing good deeds and giving in charity. It is the month when the gates of the heavens are opened and the rewards for our deeds are magnified many times over. It is the month wherein prayers are answered and the status of the worshipper is elevated. It is the month wherein sins are forgiven.

Could I Deal with God Directly?
By Khalid the tiger on Tue, 02/06/2009 - 11:45amBy Hayat Anne Collins Osman
I was raised in a religious Christian family. At that time, Americans were more religious than they are now—most families went to church every Sunday, for example. My parents were involved in the church community. We often had ministers (Protestant “priests”) in the house. My mother taught in Sunday school, and I helped her.
I must have been more religious than other children, although I don’t remember being so. For one birthday, my aunt gave me a Bible, and my sister a doll. Another time, I asked my parents for a prayer book, and I read it daily for many years.

The Qur`an, the Believers and the non-Believe
By Khalid the tiger on Thu, 28/05/2009 - 10:33amMuslims believe that the Qur`an consists of words that were miraculously formulated by God in the heart of the Prophet Muhammad, his will playing no part in it. This is also expressed by saying that the Spirit (or the angel Gabriel) revealed the verses of the Qur`an to him. This belief did not develop as a result of gradual reflection or as a result of a decision taken by the community after the Prophet. Rather, this belief was a part of being Muslim from the very beginning for the simple reason that the Qur`an itself clearly states it (2:23,97, 4:82, 6:19, 10:38, 14:1, 17:86-88, 26:192-194, 27:6, 42:24, 56:77-80, 80:11-16, 81:19-29, 85:21-22). To be a Muslim has always meant to accept Muhammad as the Messenger of God which in turn has always meant accepting the Qur`an as the word of God.
Celebrating Prophet’s birthday is innovation?
By UkEngQatar on Fri, 06/03/2009 - 8:17pmO people! Fear Allah the Almighty and know that the greatest favour He has ever conferred upon His servants is sending them Prophets as warners and bearers of glad tidings. Allah sent these prophets with scriptures so that He would judge between people in their disputes. The most effective and esteemed message of all of these was that of the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam whom Allah sent to guide all of mankind – and to seal prophethood.
The prohibition of songs

Dear brothers, the battle between Satan, supported by his human and jinn soldiers, and the believers is endless; it never ceases. We experience this battle each day, hour and even each minute. On the very day that Allah cursed him and dismissed him down to earth, Satan swore that he would wage a bitter war in which he would mobilise all those he could manage to corrupt. He adopted many methods and different means in order to trap the children of Aadam.
