Benazir Bhutto
By mathboy on Thu, 18/03/2010 - 7:45pmBenazir Bhutto is no doubt one of the best examples of a female 'hero' in Asia and Muslim world--very tough and extremely brave woman. She set a precedent; she proved that a woman can reach to any heights even in a country like Pakistan which is a male-dominant society and where politics is the exclusive domain of men. One may disagree with her political philosophy or question her credibility but her leadership capacity and her achievements being a woman are undeniable and unmatched. She should be applauded and acknowledged for pioneering women leadership in Pakistan and proving that women can outscore men even in the game of politics.
Habib Jalib, a prominent poet of Pakistan wrote the following poem about her:
Dartay hain bandooqon walay ek nehatti larki say
Pakistani Schools--- Please Advise!
By nomad.me on Wed, 17/03/2010 - 5:34pmI have recently moved to Doha with my family. I was thinking about enrolling my children in a Pakistani school where they would be able to learn Urdu and learn about Pakistan. Many people have advised me against it as they think that Pakistani schools don't provide quality education.
I would like to know your opinion on this matter.
Salam
I need some medicines from Pakistan. Is it possible that I can ask my family to send it by TCS or DHL couriers? It is not liquid, only tablets from approved companies.

By johny_boiei on Sun, 14/03/2010 - 3:22pmAfridi should lead Pakistan cricket team!
After Pakistan’s disastrous tour of Australia, we started a poll on Pakool.com asking our visitors to let us know who should lead the Pakistan cricket team. Over 700 votes were casted and finally the results are out.
The large majority of voters think Shahid Afridi is best choice for Pakistan captain. A massive 65% people voted in favour of Adridi, and the closest contender is Younis Khan with just 12% votes.
Pakistani Air Force flight lieutenants Ambreen Gul and Nadia Gul in Islamabad

Pakistani Air Force flight lieutenants Ambreen Gul (left) and Nadia Gul in Islamabad
Ambreen made Pakistani history by becoming one of the country’s first female fighter pilots, but yesterday she was due to swap her flight schedule in one of the world’s most dangerous countries for an arranged marriage with a stranger.
“It’s all set and planned, but I haven’t talked to him,” she admits, her face scrubbed clean and wearing a Pakistan Air Force (PAF) jumpsuit — a far cry from the make-up and ornate gown she’ll wear for the wedding.
The wedding between Flight Lieutenant Ambreen Gul, 25, and an engineer from Islamabad has been arranged by their families in the best Pakistani tradition.
