Visitor to Qatar and Umrah visas from Qatar

Hello.

I'm planning to go to Umrah from Qatar. I've got an RP. I want my Mum to join me on my Umrah trip. My Mum is a UK national who lives in the UK. Can she arrive in Qatar on a visit/tourist visa and then get a visa from the Sausi Embassy in Doha in order to go on Umrah from Qatar?

What's with website updating slowness??

I have just recently set up my own website and when i update it, it doesn't change for over 24hrs, if that. But in the UK/US or anywhere else, the changes are reflected straight away.

Any ideas???

Europe has a new President...

What a farce. Europe has it's first president and foreign minister..

Hands up if you've ever heard of the. What no one ???

In a stitch-up between the two big blocs of the EU, the Centre Right fell in behind Herman Van Rompuy, the Belgian Prime Minister, to take that job.

The centre-left Socialist leaders backed Baroness Ashton of Upholland, Britain’s Trade Commissioner, to be the first High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy, as well as vice-president for external affairs.

The saving grace is that Tony B'Liar didn't get the job..

Use any courier service than DHL

Hi

I just wanted to inform you all that never use DHL to ship your goods specially from UK to Qatar. They just lost my Iphone 16gb 3gs which cost me around 3000 riyals to get it shipped from there. Apparently some of their own guys stole it and they claim that they lost it in the transit. Now how come a package that can be traced online be lost just like that?

Furthermore they are not going to give you anything back other than the shipping charges plus a 100 dollars which does not even constitute a third of my total cost.

Therefore I advise you all to use any other courier service other than DHL, because if you are getting expensive packages shipped, they are most probably gonna intentionally loose them and then give you just a 100 dollars back.

Thanks

Ireland exit unfair - Egypt exit undeserved

As a Barcelona fan, I naturally like Terry Henry, but yesterday, I was heartbroken when I saw how a brave, courageous, active and heroic Ireland team beat the crap out of the French chickens (not cocks) yet got eliminated by the cheating hand of Henry!

Ireland with plenty of chances to have sealed qualification to South Africa, had to exit the stage with a shameful double hand ball from the french attacker, questioning the FAIR PLAY slogan that FIFA shows in every match played internationally.

An additional two referees in each game?
Why wait until the next European under-21 championship?
When will teams like Ireland feel that they were justifiably eliminated?

Bahraini Ramzi Stripped of Olympic Title

Bahrain's Olympic 1500m champion Rashid Ramzi has been stripped of his gold medal after testing positive for doping at the 2008 Beijing Games.

Ramzi, who was his country's first Olympic champion, was one of five athletes who tested positive in April for new blood-booster Cera.

The 29-year-old faces a two-year ban but is expected to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Kenya's Asbel Kipruto Kiprop, who came second, is set to be upgraded to gold.

Nicolas Willis of New Zealand could go from bronze to silver with France's fourth-place finisher Mehdi Baala getting the bronze.

A town is to become the first in the UK to provide free wireless internet access to all its residents.

Swindon, in Wiltshire, will be covered by a "WiFi mesh" offering blanket internet coverage for its 186,000 citizens, the council said.

The £1 million project will be funded by a mixture of public and private money.

But it hopes to break into profit with residents subscribing to faster, paid-for access, above the free service.
