Qatar Foundation
I came to Qatar with a work visa issued by a retail company. Before arriving I had also applied for a position at QatarFoundation. About 3 weeks into my retail job, I was called for an interview with Qatar Foundation (QF) , and later was offered a position of an IT consultant. I arrived on May 29, and since then had only done my medical, and didn't complete RP process with my employer; who was also kind enough to give me NOC to complete QF application.
In Sept, I submitted all particulars with QF HR and I was told to wait 1-2 months.

Education City,Land of the Giants
By genesis on Fri, 23/10/2009 - 9:08pmThis was the title of a recent Article by Qatari Columnist Faisal Al Marzoqi in which he resembles Eduction City with its Featured campuses & gigantic buildings to the famous late 60's SCI FI US TV series "Land of the Giants" in the eyes of ordinary Qataris who are resembled as dwarfs.
According to the article, the Many Centers & Institutes of EC have done very little for Qataris.
The conclusion according to the writer, Qatar Foundation established the foundations for a society to be raised to the ranks of advanced countries in Education, Science and Community Development. However, the reality is that the Qatari society and its citizens in particular, are far behind from benefits sought by this organization through these institutes and centers.
Any idea about HR Test in Qatar Foundation for candidates. Please help me...

I had an interview with Qatar Foundation and I want to know if i passed or failed how many day you think they will get back to you? will they call you or will send a letter? I hope someone could answer my question. This has been clinging in my mind for the past few days...

Hi
I heard that there will be a hores racing that will start by the end of October of beginning of November. Any one know when exactly it atarts and how to get tickets?
Also does anyone know how to register in the horse riding lessons in Qatar Foundation?
Many thanks

Can you, please, tell me more about the structure, entry procedures, specialities, subsidies - for expets, Qatari nationals, etc. that apply there, or let me know of a website, etc. where I can find more information on all the aspects of the topic in detail. Perhaps you have some information about (some of) the higher education institutes located at Education City of Qatar Foundation or elsewhere. Thank you

Hello there!
Folks I am a Canadian citizen and had applied to Qatar Foundation about 7 months ago. About 45 Days ago I did receive an email stating that I have been Shortlisted for a Position I had applied for. I logged in to the Career website of QF where I had initially applied for the position and still saw the Status of my application as "Shortlisted". I was thinking perhaps on account of Ramadan there has been no progress on it. Now that Eid is passed I am thinking of calling up these folks but I dont see a Phone Number where I can reach them on their web site. I wonder if someone works at QF or knows someone who is working there could give me that info. Also what is the average wait time from the time one has been shortlisted till the next step. Please advise. Thanks.
Cheers!
