Inland Sea

ok...this may seem odd but it's a bit of a dilemma for me. We plan to go for an overnight camping (preferably Inland sea) but the issue is what happens when you want to use a loo? There are ladies coming along and this is their major concern.

I'm sure some of you would be able to give me some valuable advice.

Hi QLERS out there!!! is there anybody want to join me and my niece for Desert Safari and Inland sea trip???we are only 3 and we need more to come with us,the more the merrier...we love adventure and sight seeing.

So many people told me about this place at the Inland sea, when I had the chance to go there it was amazing……..they call it Maldives Qatar and I think it is……..check the photo attached……….

I thought that creating a topic with a more appealing title for the non-walkers would be a good idea!

We are planning a trip to the Inland Sea with overnight stay on Eid Al-Adha (exact date not set yet). Drive there (along the Sealine or not, whatever is arranged throughout the development of this topic), BBQ's, dunebashing (or not), overnight stay with campfire.

These are the members of QL already signed up for the event. Please help us set this event up (as I am new to BIG event organization) and let's make this a get-together to remember!!!

Tour guide to Khor Al Udeid" / The Inland Sea via fishing port of Al Wakra.

At the southeast tip of Qatar, the sea pierces through the land to dig a long channel of water into the desert island. For this reason the site is called "Khor Al Udeid" or The Inland Sea. Khor when translated from Arabic to English means Inlet and if one were to visit the site one would see exactly why it is called so, for the sea first surges through the land to divide Saudi Arabia from Qatar and then curves to create a shallow lake.

Also truly amazing are the pink cliffs that rise on the Saudi side of the inlet and the pure white dunes that line the Qatari side.
