I am an accountant by profession have been trying for a long period to get the profession changed in my ID in order to obtain driving license. The recent response from the labor department was that my qualification (i.e. CIMA) was not recognized. My understanding is that the department doesn't recognize distance learning and that is likely to be the reason for the rejection.

Rather than trying to request for a profession change from my current profession which is a Carpenter to an Accountant, I am thinking to request the new profession as a business executive or related to that to speed up and increase the chances of getting the profession changed successfully. 

I would much appreciate the advice from this forum regarding this.
