Dow Jones, the publisher of 'The Wall Street Journal', has announced plans to establish a Qatar base in 2025, strengthening its presence in the Middle East and North Africa. The office will operate from Media City Qatar, a leading hub for global media and technology companies.

As part of its partnership wth Qatar's Government Communications Office, Dow Jones will host the 'The Wall Street Journal Tech Live' conference annually in Doha for the next five years starting in 2025.

Sheikh Jassim bin Mansour bin Jabor al-Thani lauded the initiative as a significant step for Qatar's technological growth, while Dow Jones CEO Almar Latour highlighted the region's role in innovations and artificial intelligence.

The new office will enhance Dow Jones' journalism, expand sales and risk management services, and support Qatar's goals of becoming a global hub for innovation and sustainable economic development.
