Customs officers at Hamad International Airport successfully foiled an attempt to smuggle narcotic substances into the country, seizing a total of 7 kilograms of illegal drugs.

The seizure included 1 kilogram of heroin and 6 kilograms of hashish, which were cleverly concealed within automotive spare parts. The operation was initiated after a customs inspector grew suspicious of luggage belonging to passengers arriving in Qatar.
