HH The Amir arrives in Dubai to attend United Nations’ climate conference

HH The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has arrived in Dubai, the UAE, to attend the 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference, more commonly known as COP28.

HH the Amir and his accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at the Al Maktoum International Airport by UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Qatar’s Ambassador to the UAE HE Dr Sultan Salmeen Saeed Al Mansouri, UAE’s Ambassador to Qatar HE Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa bin Sultan bin Shakhbout Al Nahyan, and members of the Qatari embassy were also present to welcome Sheikh Tamim. 

The major climate conference, which kicked off on November 30, will run until December 12 at Dubai’s Expo City.
