HH The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani paid a visit to the Lusail International Circuit — the venue for the upcoming Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix — on Monday.
During the visit, Sheikh Tamim was briefed on the various renovation works being carried out at the circuit in anticipation of major local and international races.
“We were honored today by the visit of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to Lusail International Circuit, accompanied by Dr Eng Saad bin Ahmad Al Muhannadi, President of the Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ and AbdulRahman bin Abdullatif Al Mannai, President of QMMF and Lusail International Circuit,” wrote Lusail Circuit on Instagram.
“His Highness was briefed on the renovation work of the circuit where the Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix will be hosted in October,” read the social media post.

HH The Amir made a tour of the circuit and was briefed about newly added buildings, facilities, various logistical services, and equipment. A number of senior ministers and officials accompanied Sheikh Tamim during the guided tour.
The Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix is scheduled to run from October 6 to 8 this year.
