HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call on Wednesday from HE Keir Starmer, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, during which the two leaders discussed pressing regional and international developments.

The conversation focused particularly on the recent Israeli attack on the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Both sides emphasized the urgent need to de-escalate tensions and to pursue diplomatic solutions to prevent further instability in the region.

In addition to regional issues, the Amir and the British Prime Minister reviewed the strong bilateral relations between Qatar and the United Kingdom, reaffirming their shared commitment to enhancing cooperation across various fields.

The call underscored the importance of dialogue and peaceful resolution of conflicts amid growing geopolitical challenges.
