The Embassy of Japan in Qatar is pleased to announce that entries for the Qatar-Japan Illustration Contest 2025 will continue to be accepted until the deadline on September 20, 2025.

This event is designed to celebrate the vibrant art and culture of Japan within the Qatari community, in cooperation with our leading local partners, including Geekdom, Nakama, and the Japanese Club at Qatar University. All Aspiring illustrators are encouraged to submit their work as soon as possible and seize this fantastic opportunity to be part of a celebration of Japanese art and culture.

The contest, that started on July 1^st, invites talented individuals to create original illustrations inspired by Japanese themes in a Qatari setting. The initiative aims to deepen cultural exchange and provide a platform for Qatari people and residents to showcase their creativity and passion for Japanese art.

Artists of all skill levels are encouraged to participate. The winners will be selected by a panel of judges and will receive amazing prizes sponsored by

Teyseer Motors - Suzuki, Fnac Qatar, Daiso Japan, and North Café.
