MOECC Announces Winter Camping Season 2025–2026

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MOECC) has announced the opening of registration for the Winter Camping Season 2025–2026, which will begin on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 8 am. The winter camping season will officially start on October 15, 2025 and continue until April 15, 2026.

This initiative comes as part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to provide citizens and residents with opportunities to enjoy Qatar’s natural environment in a safe and organized manner, while also ensuring the protection of its ecosystems and wildlife.

Registration Process:

  • Registration will take place exclusively through the Ministry’s official website: www.mecc.gov.qa.
  • Applicants may choose from a wide selection of camping sites across northern, central, and southern regions, including land and sea camping.
  • Registration opens: October 1, 2025 – 8 am
  • Northern Region: Registration will be from October 9–14, 2025
  • Central Region Registration will be from October 1–4, 2025
  • Southern Region Registration will be from October 5–8, 2025
  • To accommodate demand, the registration system will reopen between October 15 and November 15, 2025, depending on campsite availability.

The Ministry urged all participants to adhere strictly to the camping regulations to ensure the safety of campers and the preservation of Qatar’s environment. The Ministry also highlighted that the campaign operates under the theme “Towards a Safe Camping”, reflecting its commitment to balancing leisure activities with environmental protection.
