Qatar Airways has rolled out a series of relief measures to assist passengers affected by recent disruptions following the temporary closure of Qatari airspace on June 23, 2025. The airline confirmed that while flight operations are being rescheduled, minor delays may persist until June 26, 2025.

To accommodate impacted travellers, the national carrier is offering flexible booking options for tickets booked until June 30, 2025:

• Free Date Change: Passengers can rebook travel dates without incurring additional charges up to July 15, 2025.

• Full Refund Option: Travellers may request a full refund for the unused portion of their ticket without cancellation fees.

Qatar Airways emphasized that its teams across various departments are working 24/7 to assist affected passengers and restore normal operations. In a statement shared via its official X (formerly Twitter) account, the airline said, “We are currently resuming operations to our global network of over 170 destinations. Our teams are assisting passengers whose flights were disrupted to help them rebook as quickly as possible.”

The airline also mentioned that staffing has been increased at Hamad International Airport to provide additional support to travellers during this period. Qatar Airways continues to monitor the situation closely.

Passengers are advised to stay updated by checking flight status via qatarairways.com or the Qatar Airways mobile app before heading to the airport.
