Qatar announces Ramadan working hours from 9 am to 2 pm

Qatar’s Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs HE Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Sulaiti issued a circular on Monday specifying the working hours of ministries, government agencies, public bodies and institutions during the Holy month of Ramadan.

The number of official working hours for government officials will be five hours per day, starting from 9am to 2pm. 

Employees may be permitted late attendance up to 10am at the latest, provided that they fulfil work requirements and complete the official working hours (five hours).
