Qatar Charity 'revives hope' to Syria with 40 trucks of Aid

Qatar Charity has launched a 40-truck humanitarian aid convoy as part of its "Reviving Hope" campaign to support the Syrian people amid the ongoing crisis. Annnounced during a press conference at the Syrian-Turkish border, the initiative was led by Nawaf Al-Hamadi, Assistant CEO for International Operations. 

The convoy addresses critical shortages of food, medical supplies, winter clothing, and hygiene kits, with aid valued at QAR 4.5million. The first phase to assist those affected by severe shortages and harsh winter conditions, particularly over the 16 million Syrians in urgent need of assistance, according to UN estimates. 

Mr. Al-Hamadi emphasized Qatar Charity's commitment to providing sustainable support, aiding Syrians in rebuilding their lives after over a decade of crisis. He called on the Qatari community to further support this effort to maximise its impact.
