Qatar and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) have strongly condemned recent statements by the Israeli occupation’s Prime Minister calling for the displacement of Palestinians. Both Doha and the GCC stressed that such remarks represent a gross violation of Palestinian rights and international law.

Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the Israeli statements reflect a continuation of the occupation’s policy of violating Palestinian rights, undermining international agreements, and sabotaging the two-state solution.

The Ministry emphasized that these policies show open contempt for the international community and for the foundations of peace in the Middle East.

In its statement, the Ministry highlighted the occupation’s collective punishment of Palestinians, including the ongoing war on Gaza, crimes in the West Bank, violations of religious sanctities, settlement expansions, Judaization plans for Jerusalem, and restrictions on humanitarian aid.

It stressed that these measures will not succeed in forcing Palestinians from their land or stripping them of their legitimate and inalienable rights.

Qatar also called on the international community to act firmly against extremist and provocative policies pursued by Israel, warning that continued violence threatens not only regional stability but global security.

It reaffirmed that lasting peace requires a just and comprehensive solution based on the Arab Peace Initiative and the two-state solution, establishing an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The GCC echoed Qatar’s stance, with Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi denouncing the Israeli Prime Minister’s remarks as ‘irresponsible and dangerous,’ describing them as a ‘public call to perpetrate a full-fledged crime of ethnic cleansing.’

Albudaiwi stressed that such provocative statements are a flagrant violation of international charters, conventions, and humanitarian law. He urged the international community to urgently assume its legal and moral responsibilities and to take immediate action to halt these dangerous practices before they escalate further.

He added that these statements reflect the systematic aggressive approach pursued by the Israeli occupation to derail any efforts toward achieving a just and comprehensive peace.
