The National Cybersecurity Agency (NCSA) announces that Qatar has Achieved 'model' country status in the Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI) 2024. This designation, issued by the International Telecommunication Union on September 13, reflects Qatar's excellence across all five cybersecurity pillars : Legal, Technical, regulatory, capacity development and cooperation. 

Qatar's full scores in these areas underscore its strong commitment to enhancing both local and international cybersecurity strategies and fostering a secure digital environment. The GCI 2024 report places Qatar among 46 tier 1 countries, recognizing its exceptional dedication to comprehensive cybersecurity practices.
