The Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the FIFA Intercontinental Cup 2025, presented by Aramco and FIFA, has announced that Qatar will host the final three matches of the prestigious club competition this December.

The annual tournament will crown the world’s best football club for 2025, with teams competing for three trophies: the FIFA Derby of the Americas, the FIFA Challenger Cup, and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup.

The scheduled matches will be held on December 10, 13, and 17, all in Doha.

Qatar previously hosted this annual club event three times — in 2019, 2020, and in 2024, when Real Madrid were crowned champions in front of a capacity crowd at the iconic 80,000-seat Lusail Stadium, which also hosted the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 final.

The matches set to be played in Doha are:

Match 3, December 10

FIFA Derby of the Americas between 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup winners Cruz Azul (MEX) and winners of the 2025 CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores.

Match 4, December 13

FIFA Challenger Cup between 2025 CAF Champions League champions Pyramids FC (EGY) and winners of Match 3.

Match 5, December 17

FIFA Intercontinental Cup final featuring 2025 UEFA Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain (FRA) and winners of Match 4.

This edition of the FIFA Intercontinental Cup will add to an exciting period for world-class football in Qatar, which will also host the FIFA U-17 World Cup from November 3 to 27, 2025, and the FIFA Arab Cup 2025, the second edition of the regional tournament, from December 1 to 18.

The FIFA Intercontinental Cup 2025 will overlap with the final days of the FIFA Arab Cup, showcasing Qatar’s capacity to successfully host multiple major sporting events simultaneously.

All venues hosting these tournaments will be seamlessly connected via public transportation and provide barrier-free access to accommodate disabled fans.
