The FIFA U-17 World Cup 2025 is set to make history this November as the first-ever edition to feature 48 teams, expanding the global stage for young football stars of tomorrow.

Held from November 3 to 27, the draw revealed 12 groups and matchups that will be played across world-class venues like the Aspire Zone and Khalifa International Stadium, where the Final will take place.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino applauded Qatar’s role in nurturing global talent: “The presence of five newcomers in this draw represents FIFA’s mission — to give everyone a chance to shine on the world stage.”

The draw was led by FIFA’s Roberto Grassi, with assistance from Julian Draxler, Germany’s 2014 World Cup winner, and Abdulaziz Al Sulaiti, who represented Qatar at the 2005 U-17 World Cup.

Fans will see exciting group clashes, including Brazil vs. Indonesia, England vs. Egypt, and Qatar vs. Italy. With five consecutive editions of the tournament to be hosted by Qatar through 2029, this year's U-17 World Cup marks the beginning of a new era in youth football.
