The lingering cold weather in the country has given people a perfect opportunity to head outdoors with their family and friends and make lasting memories.

Getting in on the celebratory mood, Qatar Tourism (QT) and Qatar Airways jointly launched the ‘Feel Winter in Qatar’ campaign on Thursday, revealing a series of family-friendly events and festivals for people to enjoy.

“This (Feel Winter in Qatar) is a seasonal extension of our central ‘Feel More in Qatar’ brand platform, which seeks to solidify the country’s position as the Middle East’s top destination for families,” said QT chairman and Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar Al Baker, during a Press conference.

“Our cool weather, abundant natural beauty, and unrivalled leisure and entertainment offerings make us the perfect choice for an extended holiday, a short getaway, and, of course, a winter break,” he added.
