The State of Qatar has expressed its support for efforts to restructure the Syrian state and foster consensus and unity among all political factions. These initiatives aim to strengthen civil peace, security and stability while advancing the establishment of a state governed by law, institutions, development and prosperity. 

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Ministry of foreign Affairs, (MoFA) emphasized that Syria's current critical phase necessitates the consolidation of all weapons under a unified national army that represents all societal components without exclusion. The measure is essential to safeguarding Syria's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity while enabling a peaceful transfer of power through an inclusive political process. 

MoFA reaffirmed Qatar's unwavering commitment to supporting Syria across all sectors and its active participation in regional and international efforts to fulfil the aspirations of the Syrian people for freedom, development, prosperity and a dignified life.
