Her Excellency, Shikha Hind bint Hamad Al-Thani, esteemed HE Vice Chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation, graced the culminating moments of the inaugural Women's Open Volleyball Championship for the sports season (2023-3024) on Saturday. Hosted under the patronage of the Qatar Volleyball Association and featuring the spirited engagement of ten dedicated teams, the championship marked a significant milestone in fostering sporting excellence.

In an atmosphere pulsating with intensity and sportsmanship, Her Excellency had the distinct honor of presenting the prestigious championship cup and gold medals to the triumphant "F45" team. Acknowledging the relentless commitment and remarkable prowess displayed through the tournament, Sheikha Hind Al-Thani adorned the second-place team, Waaed Academy, with the shimmering silver medals, while the podium's third-place was occupied by the bronze medalists, Al Arabi. 

Her gracious presence and commitment to uplifting women's sports accentuated the championship's significance, further inspiring a generation of Qatar's dedication to fostering athletic achievement and gender equality in sports.
