Sidra Medicine, a member of Qatar Foundation, will host its fifth annual Pediatric Neuroscience Conference (PNC) from November 6 to 8 at the Marriott Marquis City Center Hotel in Doha, Qatar.

This year’s conference will convene experts in pediatric neurology, neurosurgery, neuro-critical care, neurogenetics, neuro-radiology and related fields for three days of scientific exchange, clinical insight, and collaborative networking.

The program will feature keynote lectures, plenary sessions, case-based discussions, and interactive panels. Participants will explore cutting-edge developments in translational research, precision therapies, advanced imaging, minimally invasive surgical techniques, data-driven diagnostics, and multidisciplinary models of care.

Conference Co-Chairs Dr. Ruba Benini, Medical Director of the Neurodiagnostic Laboratory and Dr. Khalid Al Karazi, Senior Pediatric Neurosurgeon at Sidra Medicine said: “Our goal with the conference is to bridge scientific discovery with real-world clinical impact. We’re bringing together experts who’re pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in understanding pediatric brain function and disease, from genetics to neuroimaging and targeted therapies.

“Research that once seemed theoretical is now shaping treatment pathways, and this conference provides the platform to translate those breakthroughs into better care for children across the region,” they said.

PNC 2025 will feature a comprehensive program that will spotlight the latest breakthroughs in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex neurological and neurosurgical disorders in children, from exploring the epidemiology and mechanisms of neurological diseases to unveiling cutting-edge research, AI innovations, and transformative care models.

PNC 2025 Scientific Committee members Dr. Husam Kayyali, Division Chief of Pediatric Neurology and Dr. Ian Pople, Division Chief of Neurosurgery said: “The field of pediatric neurosurgery is advancing at a remarkable pace, with innovations such as intraoperative imaging, neuronavigation, and minimally invasive procedures dramatically improving patient outcomes.

“We’re incredibly proud to see the footprint that PNC has made over the years as it adapts to the latest best practices, techniques and trends in the field of pediatric neuroscience. This year, we aim to highlight how these advancements, coupled with collaboration between surgeons, researchers, and technologists, are redefining what is achievable in the operating room and beyond.”

The annual conference reflects Sidra Medicine’s broader mission to advance excellence in clinical care, research, and education. By hosting this year’s edition, Sidra Medicine reaffirms its leadership in the field of pediatric neuroscience and its commitment to positioning Qatar as a regional center for medical innovation and scientific collaboration.

PNC 2025 will be hosted in collaboration with internationally recognized institutions including Children’s National Hospital, SJD Barcelona Hospital, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and Weill Cornell Medicine, Qatar.
