The Qatar Meteorology Department has reported continued rainfall over the southern parts of the country, as shown in its latest radar images.
For today, October 15, the inshore forecast indicates chances of thundery rain accompanied by strong winds in some areas. Offshore, the northern region is expected to experience strong winds and high seas.
The morning may start hazy to misty and relatively hot with slight dust, while local rainy clouds—possibly thundery—are expected during the day. Conditions will turn mild by evening.
Wind speeds inshore will range from 5–15 knots, gusting up to 30 knots in places, while offshore winds will reach 10–20 knots, with gusts up to 24 knots in the north.
Sea conditions are expected to be moderate to rough, with waves reaching up to 5 ft inshore and 8 ft offshore in the northern region.
Temperatures will dip to around 23°C in Wakrah, Mesaieed, and Abu Samra, while Doha will see a range between 27°C and 35°C.
