Qatar celebrates the holy month of Ramadan with great enthusiasm; decking popular landmarks with Ramadan themed décor and hosting events and activities with a little something for everyone. 

Looking for places to take a couple of instagram-worthy shots? Here’s a list of places to see Ramadan decorations in Qatar.

Old Doha Port (Mina District)

The instagram-worthy landmark that opened just before the Qatar World Cup, is vibrantly lit this Ramadan creating the perfect backdrop for some candid pictures. You can also enjoy several activities and events at the port, the highlight being Souq El Mina and the firing of the iftar canon.

Souq Waqif Art Center

Hidden in the alleyways of the mud daubed buildings at Souq Waqif, is the Souq Waqif Art Center. This Ramadan, the Art Center is vibrantly decorated with Ramadan themed lights and banners creating a colorful backdrop for an instagram-worthy shot!

Katara

Katara is elegantly lit this Ramadan and will be hosting several activities, events, exhbitions and competitions throughout the holy month. Take a stroll around the Cultural Village after iftar and enjoy the decorations at both 21 High Street, Tasty Street and the winding alleyways of Katara. 

Lusail Boulevard

Having hosted world class events ever since its opening, Lusail Boulevard is also colorfully decorated this Ramadan. The Boulevard will play host to daily events and activities including a car parade before iftar and the firing of the iftar cannon amongst others. 

Al Maha Island

The popular celebrity hotspot, Al Maha Island is glamorously decorated this Ramadan with Ramadan themed lights and banners. If you love henna art, grab your friends and head over to the hostpitality tent al Al Maha drive that's offering complementary henna for all ladies. 

The Pearl, Qatar

This Ramadan the Pearl Island will be having its Ramadan Bazaar, entertainment, workshops and Ramadan decorations at 2 to 6 La Croisette, Porto Arabia every day from 8:00 pm to 1:00 am. Grab your family and friends and head over to the Pearl for a fun-filled evening,
