As we spend more time indoors and find ourselves looking for ways to keep busy, Qatar Living has come up with a brand new series 'QL Home Edition' that will give QLers an opportunity to learn something new from fellow community members.

The series will feature community members sharing interesting activities at home.

The latest video of this series features Ayesha Binth Muhammed Sameel, who shares her baking skills with us.

Check out the video to learn the step-by-step procedure on how to make a Barbie Doll Cake by a 7-year-old!

Ingredients for the cake: Eggs, oil, water, vanilla cake mix.

Step 1: Add the eggs, oil, and water in the vanilla cake mix

Step 2: Mix all the ingredients thoroughly

Step 3. Place the batter in a tray (brushed with oil) and bake it for 20 minutes at 350°F

Step 4: Once it is done, place it outside the oven and let it cool down. Then cut the cake into six circles.

Step 5: Stack the circles on top of one another and put buttercream or icing on each layer.

Step 6: Make flower decorations using a piping bag or a frosting tip all around the cake.

Step 7: You can add candy pearls on the dress for accent.
