Al Zubarah Fort

Location: Al Zubarah, Northwestern Qatar​

Al Rekayat Fort

Al Rekayat is a traditional four-sided fort with three rectangular towers and one circular tower. Notably, its walls combine coral rock, limestone, and mud bricks, showcasing the 'liban' or 'adobe' construction technique. A small mosque for farmers is located outside the fort, where the circular tower served as the 'minaret' for the call to prayer.
