Celestial Impressions: Arabic Typography & Star-Themed Block Printing with Sarah Al Naimi

In this workshop, participants will explore the basics of block printing, focusing on linoleum carving techniques and safe tool handling to create effective designs.

A graphic designer and alumna of VCUarts Qatar, Sarah Al Naimi is inspired by Arabic typography and block printing, blending with tradition and cultural identity. Her work often incorporates Arabic poetry, creating visually compelling pieces that resonate with cultural depth and meaning. She is a current artist in residence at Fire Station.
