Scoop by the Sea

Visit Qatar presents Scoop by the Sea, a fun-filled, ice cream-themed summer activation at West Bay North Beach from June 18 to August 13, 2025. The daily event features family-friendly activities including live entertainment, interactive games, water sports like kitesurfing and SUP shows, foam parties, an F1 VR car simulator, and eco bike races. Guests can enjoy sandcastle contests, trips to Al Safliya Island, sports tournaments, music performances, and carnival games, along with a variety of food and beverage options.

Geometry for Teens Workshop

This two-day introductory workshop focuses on the origins of geometry in the Islamic world and ways to identify it. Participants will receive brief instructions on creating a geometric star, which they will transform into a pattern and later colour using various mediums. For ages 12–14. Workshop lead: Kaltham Al-Thani

Creative work by Arabic Calligraphy Workshop

 A workshop inspired by the Arabic calligraphy that resides in MIA galleries. Explore the beauty of calligraphy by making your fine art piece. You can choose a text from the Museum collections and write it on glossy ornament paper. The workshop will provide the required materials. Workshop lead: Hussein Ammar Ahmad. Workshop will take place at Education Centre in MIA.
