Palestine: A Test of Human Conscience

Amid the country’s continuing plight, American Muslim scholar, civil rights leader, writer, and public speaker Dr. Omar Suleiman joins the Education City Speaker Series to explore how the Palestinian-Israeli war illustrates the distinction between those with conscience and those without – and how we can all help the Palestinian people.

Orientalism Demystified: Eastern insights on western myths

“Orientalism Demystified: Eastern Insights on Western Myths” will explore how Orientalist art has shaped Western perceptions of Arab and Asian identities, how 19th-century Orientalist stereotypes are still reflected in modern media and cultural narratives, and how museums should handle Orientalist works in their collections

EDUCATION ABOVE ALL EVENT IN SUPPORT OF CHILDREN OF GAZA

The day promises emotional moments, including two memorial walks at 4 pm and 7 pm, periods of silence, and an art exhibition dedicated to honouring resilient Gaza children. A Roses Memorial will touchingly pay tribute to their strength. The event aims to unite the community in solidarity with Gaza's children, featuring both reflective moments and sports activities organized by Education Above All (EAA) partners to raise support and awareness.

Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Qatar MotoGP™

From 17 to 19 November 2023, Qatar will once again host one of the most spectacular events on the MotoGP™ calendar at Lusail International Circuit. Along with the premier MotoGP class, you can also watch exciting races from Moto2 and Moto3, and new events like the heart-pounding half-distance Tissot Sprint Saturday!

Fishing Competition at Old Doha Port

Take part in the fishing competition in Old Doha Port from 16-18 November in cooperation with Doha Maritime Sports Club.
