School season is in full swing, but Qatar is not holding back on its line-up of exciting events and activities. This week promises to be an action packed one with fun-filled meet and greets, the Doha International Coffee Exhibition and the PSA World Tour all set to keep you entertained.

Doha International Coffee Exhibition

Explore the different varieties of coffee from around the world at the first edition of the Doha International Coffee Exhibition. The event is aimed towards coffee connoisseurs, professionals, and coffee and Horeca industry suppliers from around the world. Taking place over a span of three days, the event is an excellent opportunity for coffee enthusiasts to discover different varieties of coffee and learn about the coffee culture in different parts of the world.

School Storytelling

If your kids enjoy storytelling, consider signing them up for the school storytelling program at the National Museum of Qatar. During the program children can listen to different stories related to Qatar’s environment and engage in fun-filled activities afterwards. The program is aimed towards school students in kindergarten, grade 1 and grade 2.

Geekend

Gear up for a unique edition of Geekend featuring an exciting cosplay competition and the grand final of the back2back tournament. Registrations are required prior to visit and tickets start at QAR 15. Grab you friends and get your geek on at the Geekend event this weekend!

PSA World Tour

Continuing from last week, the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour gives you the opportunity to watch your favorite squash players live in action. Get your tickets early to watch both the men’s and women’s draws of the Doha leg of the PSA World Tour before it concludes this week. Tickets start at QAR 30 and can be bought at the Qatar Squash Federation website.

Beach Cleanup

In commemoration of World Cleanup Day, Doha Environmental Action Project (DEAP) Qatar together with the Embassy of Belgium in Qatar, will be organizing a family friendly beach cleanup Al Zubarah. While gloves and bags will be provided, volunteers are encouraged to bring their own essentials including water, food and drinks. Interested participants can DM @DeapQatar to register for the event.

TriClub Doha: Season Launch Party

Would you like to be a part of a triathlon? Consider joining TriClub Doha. Doha’s premier triathlon Club will be hosting an exciting event at Sharq Village and Spa to welcome both new and old members. During the event the club will unveil its 2023-24 schedule. The event is an excellent opportunity to connect with triathlon athletes and join a community that hosts exciting events and competitions throughout the year.

Meet and greet Chuck E.

If your kids love Chuck E. the adorable and furry mascot at Chuck E. Cheese, visit Alif Stores in Al Dafna for an exciting meet and greet. Join Chuck E. for some fun-filled sing along, arts and craft and more. The event is free to attend and will take place daily till September 15.

F1 Grand Prix Roadshow

Hosted by Lusail Circuit in anticipation of the upcoming Formula One® Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2023, the F1 Roundup is a family friendly event that features a F1 stimulator, photo booths, VR games, racing games, and more. The roadshow will take place at Doha Festival City this week before moving to another location next week.
