Expats are actually allowed to purchase real estate properties in Qatar. Freehold ownership is allowed in areas such as The Pearl, West Bay, and the Al Khor Resort project. A long-term lease of 99 YEARS is also allowed in areas including Msheireb, Bin Mahmoud, Al Sadd, and Lusail.
